On foot from the station
Below you will find instructions for the route from station Leiden centraal to Plexus and a map.
Take the exit on the city side of the station (not the exit that leads to the hospital), walk straight ahead along the Stationsweg. The Stationsweg leads into the Beestenmarkt, a small square with a number of restaurants and a cinema. At the end of the square, go left over the Blauwpoort bridge, and immediately after the bridge turn right. Walk straight on, passing a café on a boat. Take care at the very busy crossroads where the Rapenburg meets the Breestraat, Noordeinde and the Prinsessekade. Carry straight on into the Rapenburg; on your right hand side is the English pub ‘The North End’, and on your left side is a canal. Keep walking straight ahead, and you will pass on your left, on the other side of the water, the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden, on your right the Academiegebouw, and further on, also on the left on the other side of the water, the old library building (Rapenburg 70). Where the road forks, keep to the right and and you will enter the Kaiserstraat; the Plexus Student Centre is on your right.
